Helen Thornton

Helen is a chartered accountant with over 30 years’ experience across a wide range of industries including property, financial services, manufacturing and utilities, in both public and private corporations. Her property experience includes serving as a director of ISPT Pty Ltd during its expansion into healthcare and social infrastructure funds. Helen has extensive financial, risk management, audit and governance expertise, having held senior executive leadership roles at Deloitte, KPMG, BHP and BlueScope Steel, and is an experienced Chair of Audit, Risk and Compliance Committees. Helen is currently a non-executive director of Ansvar Insurance, McPherson’s Limited and Beyond Bank. Helen holds a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University, is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
